Race Description/Info:

The Run Fierce Military Working Dog 5K/70 Mile Challenge honors our incredible 4-legged military heroes who have fought next to our active-duty military members!

Why Is the Challenge 70 Miles?There are about 2500 dogs in active service today and about 700aredeployed overseas. Military dogs play an integral role in the current and past overseas conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

**Reminder – Challenge yourself! It’s your race at your pace! You don’t have to complete any of these distances in one day…It’s not about how fast or how many days…It’s about finishing the distance at your pace! 

About the Organization Receiving the Race Donation:

The organization for the Run Fierce Military Working Dog 5K/70 Mile Challenge virtual race was chosen because of all they do to transition our country’s working K9s from an operational environment into retirement. Providing mental and physical rehabilitation, and rehoming options to Military Working Dogs (MWD), Contract Working Dogs (CWD) and Law Enforcement K9s that otherwise would be euthanized.
