A total of 264 officers died in the line of duty in 2020, according to new data released by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF). That's a 96% increase over 2019 – which saw 135 duty deaths – and makes 2020 the deadliest year for law enforcement since 1974.
**Reminder – Challenge yourself! It’s your race at your pace! You don’t have to complete any of these distances in one day…It’s not about how fast or how many days…It’s about finishing the distance at your pace!
