No…You pick the race distance that suits you or your groups abilities!

**Reminder – Challenge yourself! It’s your race at your pace! You don’t have to complete any of these distances in one day…It’s not about how fast or how many days…It’s about finishing at your pace!

Why is the challenge “22.2 Miles”?

This is also a great Navy trivia question! Although U.S. Navy has roots back to the continental Navy formed in 1775, the United States Department of the Navy was established by an Act of Congress on 30 April 1798(222 Years Old), to provide a government organizational structure to the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps.

The organization receiving part of the proceeds for the Run Fierce ‘Military Series’ – Navy 5K/22.2 Mile Challenge’ was chosen because of all they do to help our Navy Members and their families in their time of need! The ‘Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society’!
